Hello! I inherited this jade (my first jade!) from my mum, and after a few months of care I am wondering how I can correct her lean and fill her out a bit. Her sparser side has been facing the sun the entire time I’ve had her.

    It looks like she’s gotten a bit leggy reaching for light. I’d give her the brightest light you can, rotate the pot about a quarter-turn every week or two, and prune back some of the longer branches to encourage bushier growth. Jade plants usually respond really well to pruning. I’d also make sure the pot has drainage and the soil dries out thoroughly between waterings—the soil looks fairly dense, so a grittier succulent mix could help. You can even root the cuttings and make more jade plants.
