How long should I let these sit to seal off before putting in soil?
24-48 hrs! I usually Just stick them on top of soil right away, they’re pretty indestructible:)

0개 좋아요I toss mine in a box in my garage over the winter and in the spring I put the on soil and set them on my front porch and it's crazy how fast the start to grow. You can almost see the changes each day.

The new plant will live off the old leaf while the roots dig down into the soil. You can lightly mist once a week with a diluted water/fertilizer solution. But, that is not even necessary.
2개 좋아요Like others have said, you don't need to wait, just put them on the soil. When I see a fallen leaf or I prune leaves off, I just toss them in my "baby nursery". These have been going for months now, I just toss them in when I have em. But I should take some out and pot them up, they're legitimate plants now 😅
