How long should I let these sit to seal off before putting in soil?
24-48 hrs! I usually Just stick them on top of soil right away, they’re pretty indestructible:)
2 Mi piaceI justcset them on top of the soil too , just like Sage said. Sometimes I put them in tiny pots like these ones and if I have a lot like you do I just put soil in a saucer and leave then till they root them put them in a pot. Good luck
2 Mi piaceHow long does it take to see growth when doing this?
0 Mi piaceI toss mine in a box in my garage over the winter and in the spring I put the on soil and set them on my front porch and it's crazy how fast the start to grow. You can almost see the changes each day.
1 mi piaceNo waiting needed when you lay them on top of the soil. They will put out roots, then, a new plant in a few weeks. The new plant will live off the old leaf while the roots dig down into the soil. You can lightly mist once a week with a diluted water/fertilizer solution. But, that is not even necessary.
2 Mi piaceLike others have said, you don't need to wait, just put them on the soil. When I see a fallen leaf or I prune leaves off, I just toss them in my "baby nursery". These have been going for months now, I just toss them in when I have em. But I should take some out and pot them up, they're legitimate plants now 😅
