This Zebra cactus recently has begun to topple. I’m not worried about rotting roots since I’m pretty conservative with watering (every 7-10 days). Should I get a bigger pot? Should I propagate some of the offshoots into their own pots? There are four offshoots, two of which are visible.

You should put the propagates in water to allow them to grow roots and then plant them!

Mine was in a tiny pot for far too long and I lost about half of the babies. But my Howie and his little brothers are loving life now that they’ve got a bit more space.

Ooh I’ve gotta take a picture of mine for you when I get home. I’ve had it for years. Mine has liked being in a wide and shallow bowl-style pot (with drainage). It has expanded to fill the pot instead of growing upwards. I water about once a month lol. They like the soil to be totally dry before watering again

Thanks for this comment! I’m in the midst of repotting my gasteraloe. Will switch to a more shallow and wide pot. Can’t wait for all the new growth!
