Guess who’s back? Back again? I’m not sure how I missed this but is this root rot at the base of this cactus? It doesn’t seem mushy or malodorous. Thanks!

    It kinda looks like corking. Does it peels off?

      It happens on older or stressed cacti, its basically an extra supportive coating. Which is why I asked if it peels off. If you're not sure id check the roots and base for any rot

      I think you’re right! It’s definitely not soft or mushy. I am going to assume stress since it was purchased recently and repotted. Thanks for the tip!
