I found what looks like a mushroom growing/hiding in my Zygo cactus. Is this normal? Should I be worried? And is there anything I should be doing to prevent this from happening if it’s a problem?

    This is a sign that you have very good nutrients in your soil. This mushroom will die off once it drys up from sunlight.

    It's harmless. If it blooms frequently, that can indicate overwatering, but otherwise it just likes the soil. While these aren't dangerous, eating them can cause stomach upset, so if you have kids or pets that might try it, pick it and remove it. If that's not an issue, you can enjoy it like a flower and remove it when it fades
