All of the spiney bits happened In the last week. It's a good thing, right? It's my first fishbone and they're so weird.
They grow fast and spindly (etiolated) when they need more light. They need more intense light and/or longer exposure to the light. They can take direct east light when protected from the harsh midday sunlight. They tree climbers. The canopy protects them in their natural habitat during midday. About 12 to 16 hours under a grow light is also ideal.
