hey friends, so i made the mistake of leaving my jade plant on the windowsill too long (bright, direct light) and this happened. i moved her back to the orignial spot she was in, will she be okay or is there anything else i need to do for her? also, can i/how do i propagate using these little leaves? i’ve had zero success with them in the past so i figured i’d reach out.

Is the soil wet? That that looks like rot from overwatering. Check your soil and repot into terracotta and cactus sandy rocky soil mix

i sprayed the top of the soil with water about an hour ago (not really sure why, thought maybe the little babies would need it), but before then i hadn’t watered her in 14 days

For propagations you’ll want to use healthy leaves/cuttings (this goes for all plants) for successful healthy baby plants. It’s unlikely these leaves will give you anything, maybe roots but not likely a baby will sprout in this state.

Got its first sunburn. Jades normally will do well in some sun, such as morning sun. Problem is your plant was used to much dimmer light. You can gradually introduce it to more sun. As far as the leaves, lay them on top of some soil. Maybe mist it a little first. Then mist when the leaf starts to wrinkle. Leaf prop takes a long time so I rarely do it.
