Can someone give me pointers for my snake plant? I’m not sure what’s going on. I moved almost two months ago and it starting to die? I did have it on the floor which I think caused it to suffocate. I raised it up a couple days ago It’s summer time so I cut back on the watering. I haven’t watered it in almost two months (since I moved) Any tips??
I wait till soil is totally dry between waterings but two months seems way too long. I have a large moonshine in a large ceramic planter that gets watered every three weeks. The others are in terracotta and it’s every one to two weeks. From the pic it looks like you have a root situation. Maybe from overwatering in the past? I’m assuming you are not watering the centers cause that will lead to rot. It’s a succulent so you need cactus/succulent soil. And looks like it needs more light. It’s not bad but appears to be stretching. Leaves should be wider. But there again, could just be your plant. Mine get lots of bright light, for comparison. If you pull on those brown leaves, bet they will easily come off. And during summer most plants need more water, not less because this is growth time.
