Hi I have an issue with my succulents, I also let the soil dry before watering, and often the soil is dry for several days to multiple weeks before watering again, yet my succulents are still showing signs of over watering. What do I do?

Along the lines with what PlantyAnn says, you will be astounded at how little water gets into the roots if your roots are wrapped tight around the root ball. I noticed my plants not growing and decided to submerge 80% of them in buckets. I mean, fill the bucket and let the water fill a bit higher than the rim of the pot so the soil is also submerged. The soil will bubble, a lot, depending on how compact the root ball has become. Leave it for 10-15. All you’re doing is softening the root ball so those roots can breathe and stretch to the rest of the container. I have yet to come up with a better analogy, but picture trying to dissolve a dirt clod using a little spray bottle. How long do you have to spray before it even appears moist? Some of the plants I soaked still had pockets of dry soil up in the base.
