Can anyone explain to me what happened to my succulent? She was big and beautiful before and now she's stretched and tiny.

I have personally found that some succulents do not need that much light. I don’t know if you have it under grill light. You might wanna move it out into minimal light. And try that because it almost looks like it’s getting too bleached. That’s just work for me. And I live in Arizona.
0 Mi piaceI her under grow lights but in the first few pictures that was her only llight source. She's one of the older plants in my collection.

I would just take it out and put it in a window of whatever source of light you can without the grow lights. And see if that changes anything when they’re young and starting out of course white is totally fine and it looks normal. And then all of a sudden they take a turn. What I’ve learned is that it’s fromtoo much of a grow light. And I love grow lights. So you definitely have to be careful with that you think you’re doing it a really good thing but it’s almost too much of a good thing. Give it a try and maybe it’ll recover but it’s gonna take a couple of weeks.
0 Mi piaceMost succulents stretch to look for light but she also looks bleached from too much light. Is she under a grow light? Maybe she’s too close to it?
1 mi piaceShe's under a grow light but it's like 3 feet away so I dunno
0 Mi piaceHmm I have no idea. I’m wish you two the best of luck!
0 Mi piaceA grow light that’s 3 feet away barely reaches the plant at all, and it looks very etiolated. It should be within a foot of the grow light, and it will get darker and stop stretching so much.

agree w this!
0 Mi piaceI think your grow light is just a bit too far away, some succulents need them as close as 18” bc they require such bright light.
2 Mi piaceI have a grow light in my SE facing window terrarium thing bc they still don’t get enough from the sun
0 Mi piaceI have the same echeverias. It’s under a grow light for 12 hours a day plus gets morning sun. It looks like your guy was not getting enough light that may be why the stretching. Leaf drop is usually from a watering issue. Are you following the app schedule? Cause I have found that I have needed to customize the watering schedule for some of my plants. So just saying it could still be a watering issue. For comparison, my plant is the one on the right.
