I've been propagating these Panda plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa) leaves for several months. I read somewhere that you should wait until the mother leaf shrivels & dies off before separating & planting. Problem is that the pups in the terracotta pot keep growing with no signs of the leaves dying off. Is it OK to just cut the rooted part from the mother leaf?

Leave it, imo. It’s providing nutrients so it will tell you when it’s spent (shrivels) not the other way around. Good luck!!

Can i cut just the top half of the leaf? The reason being is that the other dish is ready for planting and i want to combine but the leaves in terracota take up so much surface area.
