I just bought this Graptoveria opalina a week ago. She looked perfect. So healthy and chunky. Her soil was damp when purchased, well a week later she is yellowing! What do I do?! I have her in a West facing bright window that gets 6 hrs of direct sun, in zone 10a. I haven’t watered her since. Is it possible the nursery overwatered and she has root rot? Should I just leave her be? Any tips are appreciated

It could just be normal wear and tear. The bottom(older) leaves die off as new grows from the top/center. It may not be drying out fast enough, where was it when you purchased, inside or outside? These guys needs lots of light and airflow.

Outside, in sun. One week ago!

I would repot and check the root system. Nursery soil is not good. Needs changed over to proper succulent soil. At the point, get rid of the old nursery soil. Maybe even let it dry out before repotting. They need lots of light. Are you sure it’s “direct sun”? That means the plant can “see” the sun for 6 hours. Not just a sunny window. If roots are good, then plant will probably recover. Beautiful plant by the way.

Hm Im checked the roots, they seemed healthy. Changed the soil to succulent/cactus and perlite mix. Yes, it was in a sunny window. I just placed it outside and hopefully it will thrive now
