North facing windows are no good for both plants. Try putting them both in a south window or add grow lights close to the plants for 12-14 hours a day. I’m not sure I fully answered your question. 🪴🍀
1 me gustacan my cactus and snake plant survive with just a grow light?
0 Me gustaBoth plants can survive under artificial light especially the snake plant. You may need stronger lights for the cacti. Place them closer to the cacti. Run them longer. My grow lights have 16-hour timers. Try brand names like Barrina, Sansi and Soltech that are more reliable. They can be more expensive though. Also look at flat broad rectangular lights used in plastic grow tents. Again, positioning and run time makes a difference. 🪴🍀
