Aloes loving the sunshine and 60-70° weather! ☀️ Question: my terra-cotta pots are turning white and dark colors since being indoors? Suggestions on fixing or preventing the problem? Is it a problem?

    Totally normal for them to turn white! It is from the salts and minerals from water, soil, or fertilizer that leach through the porous clay and remain on the surface after evaporation.

    Yes and many people purposely “age” them just to get this look.

      After use they can be soaked in a vinegar water bath to get rid of the deposits. They will still have some aged look but it dissolves the minerals.

    Okay but what about the dark part on the bottom? Is that okay? I read somewhere it could be mold? And I’m allergic 🤦🏻‍♀️
