I want to show that youâre not alone with your âWhy is my cactus leaning?â concerns (see Reddit posts). There is a difference between âI need more light, and Iâm going to contort to find itâ and, âIâm genetically prone to lying down, here I go.â Some Mammillaria (and Echinopsis etc.) do this, and I defied my plant for many months until giving it a brace. I mean it isnât reaching for the window as much as it is creating real estate for wool and blooms and whatever the heck is next.
