That’s amazing. Never thought that would work. So what happens now? Are you keeping in water or transferring to soil?
2 likesThis is the mother plant, Phil. I ordered it online as Ghost Plant, Graptopetalum Paraguayense (Bernalense). I know Pachyphytum, they do look so much alike. What do you think? As far as the water propagation? I usually transplant them to soil once they got good rooting, shorter than this one. But when I did this one, I was thinking of keeping it in water, just see how it's going to be? Now knowing she's got a tiny pup at the base of her stem, I need to have a good glass container, with some decorative pebbles to keep her standing up? But I'm still debating. I might chop off the mother plant, propagate like this and put them all in one planter. and re-start.
1 likeDid you know that you can even do this on cacti? LOL 😂 Did that too for propagation just to see if it will work, and it did. Now I'm on fluval prop.
0 likesI don’t think that is a ghost plant Graptopetalum. I think it is a type of Pachyphytum.
0 likesHold on tho, I could be wrong... I could have swapped it with another one that was long since gone 🤔 (my replies are in the wrong comments, lol)
