Why does my Thanksgiving cactus always bloom in June and not in the winter?

They can bloom twice a year when they’re in good health. They need specific temperature and light conditions in order to trigger the blooming process in November that gives them their name. I’d recommend looking for some YouTube videos that could detail how to do so for you. Hope this helps.

That’s a cute name for it! 😊 I’ve got one I take care of for my great-aunt that bloomed this spring, but bloomed last in November. Recently picked one up for myself, but I haven’t figured out what to name mine yet.
