Can anyone tell me why my aloe plant is flopping over like this? It was given to me in 2021 and was just a little guy, standing up straight about 3 inches tall. I’ve repotted it twice in the years since, tho I am not sure it needed it, as the roots are shallow and not spread much. I usually have kept it propped up with a stake, but let it flop for this photo so it’s true form could be seen. Is it too top heavy from over watering? it looks healthy and seems to have no other health issues I can tell. Is it some form of flopping/trailing aloe?! Any tips or suggestions welcome!

    Not enough light will cause them to stretch and reach out like that

    This isn't an Aloe Vera. Hawthoria usually have that growth pattern.

      It could be Haworthia Aura.

      I think it might be too long/tall, or at least I can’t find any pics of hawthornia that are as tall/long as my plant!

      Haworthia grow straight up the older they get.

    This my aloe, it’s called a climbing aloe. Guess if they don’t have anywhere to climb up on they will hang. They get top heavy.

      Your edges have little spikes or ridges on them. It looks like from her picture hers does not. That's what made me think Haworthia and not Aloe.
