Help! I just repotted this flaming katy I’ve had for years- how do I get her to grow bushier? 😭 I had to stake her because she keeps climbing (she’s developing aerial roots now too??) Would appreciate any help!

She might be searching for more light. Trying moving it closer to more sunlight or add a grow light.
1 mi piaceThank you, I’ll move her closer to my window!
0 Mi piaceMore light mine is in north face patio in southern Arizona
2 Mi piaceThank you, I’ll move her. Thankfully my windows are all south facing, so she’ll get plenty ☺️
0 Mi piaceConsider cutting off sections and propagating. Put the cuttings back into the pot to get fullness.
2 Mi piaceIf you would like it to be bushier, pruning encourages more branching and new growth. Cut above a node and soon you see branches from the node. You can also easily propogate the stem that you pruned. It needs a lot of light (east, west or south facing window).
