Hey everybody. I bought succulents from Home Depot a few weeks back and I think that they are doing okay for the most part but they are beginning to grow mushrooms. I’ve already done my research on them but what should I do to help dry out my soil for my succulents that are placed in ceramic pots? I don’t think these pots were a good idea but they were my only choice. I’ve only watered the plants once and haven’t since the soil is still pretty damp.

Maybe try repotting it with new soil. I use the Cactus Potting Mix also from HomeDepot. And when getting a new succulent I also repot because idk how long that soil has been in the plants and what it might have. It’s also really stale too.🫤After doing this it really helps my plants plump up and gain a lot of color I really recommend it. 😁

Oh and also maybe try a sunnier window or a grow light so the soil dries faster to avoid the mushrooms.
