For those of you who have mature Mammillaria spinosissima, what do you pot them in and how do you provide support? (Please share pictures). My last repot on this guy was maybe 2 ½ years ago and I'm contemplating if he will need one this upcoming spring. I did a little rearranging so he is no longer laying on my Mammillaria bombycina who is about to shoot out another pup. I over turned an empty flower pot for support. Just wondering what other people do for theirs.

    I don’t have a Mammillaria spinous sims but maybe it’s leaning that way because that’s the only direction it’s getting it’s light from. Maybe try turning your plant and eventually it will for whack straight. After it does try rotating 90° every month or time you water. Hope this helps!

      Mammillaria spinosissima and other mammillaria species (not all) are a crawling cacti. In my experience they grow towards the setting sun. I used to rotate him for years so he would stand straight until he got too big and I did more research. Thank you though!
