I got this succulent a little over a year ago and it’s never been doing great so I read that it might need more sun. I brought it to my office where I get a lot of sun and now its stem has turned almost a red and it is slowly drooping lower and lower. The first photo is today and the second is from before bringing it to my office. Any tips?

It looks like it may be a ghost plant! The leaves being green is a sign it’s cool with getting more sun. If they start to turn red that’s a sign it would like less. If it is a ghost plant like I think, they prefer full sun, but can also be healthy in part sun part shade. They also like to be watered every 2 weeks or so :)

You’re welcome! â˜ș I just want to clarify with the turning red thing, with that I mean the leaves specifically turning pink or red means it’s asking for less sun. Idk if the stem turning red is normal or means anything đŸ«¶đŸ»

I think it may be a pachyphytum Oviferum. Needs bright light about 8 hours every day. Morning sun would be great. Avoid midday sun. The top rosette looks good. You could prop that and give it the right conditions. Cut off the top leaving some stem for balance. Pull off bottom leaves that are in the way, and place the rosette into some high quality succulent/cactus soil. Should grow roots in a few weeks. Only water at the base of the stem when the leaves start to wrinkle. And then regular succulent care. Pic is one of mine. Notice how close the leaves are on the stem. That’s from a very bright grow light.
