I got this string of rubies as a rescue and it’s in a pot without drainage, basically root bound, and the top of the soil is low in the pot. Any tips to try and prevent losing half the leaves when I repot? Or should I just accept that that’s probably going to happen no matter what I do?

Repotting will add stress. I would break the glass instead of trying to scoop out the soil and damaging the root ball.
