Could be a fungus or mealy bugs… can you post a picture? I would suggest picking off the infected leaves. You could also spray with a mixture of alcohol and water, or dawn dish soap and water
2 J'aimeYes let’s see a picture!
2 J'aimeoh she’s thiiiiiirsty for one thing — the mushroom needs soil to stay moist in order to grow which indicates the soil it staying wet longer than the plant would like. but your leaves are totally depleted so i think you should take it out of the pot and see what’s going on with the roots. something isn’t right — start there, unfortunately i’m expecting your roots to be rotten
1 j'aimeThank you!!! I’m going to try and give her fresh soil! Hopefully I can bring her back
0 J'aimeIf it’s mold; neem oil. If it’s mealy bugs; neem oil. If it’s spider mites; neem oil! Basically just treat it with neem oil. All of my plants get regular treatment and cleaning every month, it’s a great preventative solution. It also prevents root rot!
3 J'aimeneem oil smells bad and it leaves a residue — i don’t use it unless i absolutely have to
1 j'aime🙄 a residue? Really? … I’ve never seen any and the Neem I buy has citrus so maybe it’s covering an awful smell
0 J'aimeok I’m adding my reply here because the threads on this app get confusing.. ok so the leaves are saying she’s thiiiiiirsty for one thing — the mushroom needs soil to stay moist in order to grow which indicates the soil it staying wet longer than the plant would like. but your leaves are totally depleted so i think you should take it out of the pot and see what’s going on with the roots. something isn’t right — start there, unfortunately i’m expecting your roots to be rotten
1 j'aimegirl those are rotted 🥴
0 J'aimeMine seem really happy when I repot every few months, the soil being locked around the roots makes them unhappy. Mine are also doing best in the rough terracotta style pot, it really helps the soil breathe and not stay too wet. Highly recommend a breathable pot when you repot them, and consider something lighter like cactus soil. When I water, ideally almost all the water passes through the drainage, pretty quickly. If it drains really slowly, that's a sign the soil is keeping a ton of water, which will harm the roots. You've got this!
