Does my jade plant have hope? I think I accidentally overwatered it and so it was leaning. I was trying to get it to a spot where the moisture would absorb more and it mostly fell over. The last photo which is good and shows growth was taken October 4th.

Take off the bottom six leaves and shove it back in some new drier soil with chopsticks to keep it upright

Jade plants are very forgiving. Your leaves all look healthy. I have, in the past, braced my jade plant with pencils and wires to keep it from leaning, but it likes to move overnight.

It looks like the base of the plant has either snapped or developed soft rot, most likely from the overwatering. I definitely think you can save it, though! Use some clean shears/scissors (you can sanitize them with hydrogen peroxide) to cut between the leaves, about 2-3 sets of leaves from the base of the plant, remove the bottom leaves, and allow the base to callous over for a day or two. You can then place the plant in a small pot with wet perlite, adding a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to the water when the perlite dries out, and only watering it when the perlite dries out. If the base has soft rotted, propagating it and separating it from the roots will keep the rot from spreading, and if the base is rotted like it appears to have, propagating is gonna be the best way to save it. Check in on the root development every week and it should probably start to form new roots within at least 2 weeks. Hope this helps!

I’ve noticed Jades do not do well in plastic. If you tend to overwater, Terra cotta pots are best.
