I have a Cooper's Haworthia. It has a lot of shoots. Should I separate them or is it OK to leave them attached? If they grow in the wild, I assume the shoots don't detach which makes me think it's OK to leave them. It already has roots growing between the leaves. Is that normal? There are also a lot growing from the base that are really close to the surface of the gritty mix that I use. They're not showing in the drainage holes, which is one of the ways I determine if a plant needs to be repotted. I'm planning to repot it in the same pot since it hasn't really outgrown this one but hopefully bury the roots more. I have attached a photo of the roots within the leaves and the plants page

Yes, it is normal for them to grow roots in between leaves, mine does that too. I leave them all clustered because they look pretty like that. Only time I separated some was because they were just overflowing, lol. Thinking same, out in the wild, they just all grow together.

I quite like them together as well. 🙂
