Ok, so I was super excited that my hedgehog possibly made it through the winter. Now I’ve found the bottom is quite soft. Ignore and hope for the best or cut the top off and wait for it to callous and replant? I’m so sad :(

I think the pot looks a little dry so mabey try some water with cactus fertilizer and also if that pot is outside bring it inside and put it in a smaller pot and make sure u have dirt for cactus in the pot
2 Mi piaceIt probably is a bad setup I was going to rectify thus spring. It is a big pot with cactus soil and several hedgehog plants spaced apart. My plan had been to put them closer together in a smaller pot but then noticed this guy was soft on the bottom. So now I was worried about everything 😩
0 Mi piaceYeah, it’s not looking good…
0 Mi piaceI'd cut it. And prop the top. If it's soft it doesn't usually firm back up
2 Mi piacePretty sure you’re right :(
