I am very new to plants and have a jellybean plant in a terrarium. It has no beans on one stem and only beans at the top. What do i do with this? Should i cut off the empty stem?

I’d say leave it. I had a plant like that and after a while it stated growing again

For aesthetic reasons, you could cut the empty stem down, it might grow back up from the ground. Same for the stem with leaves at the top. You could cut it a few inches down from the beans, let it “callous” (dry out for a day or so, so the cut end doesn’t rot), and then propagate it. Each of those little white spots used to have a leaf, which has fallen off for some reason (too much/not enough light or water, or just old age). Roots can now grow from those spots. Sometimes new leaves or branches start there, too. Part of the life cycle! But if it lost a lot of leaves really quickly, check if it’s too wet, too dry, etc.

For reference: this is the sedum (similar plant, same family) in my office, which was neglected when I was on leave. Now that I’m back and it’s getting enough water, it’s pushing out a new little branch
