Hi! I have this dragon fruit that has just gone WILD. any advice on the aerial roots?
Th roots help it climb to get more light or water. It doesn’t look dehydrated. It may need more light. 🪴🍀
1 likeTraditionally they are staked upwards. Or stake put into a pot, and plants arranged around the base. You can put in a thick stake near to the plant and tie the plant loosely upwards. I dont have a pic of mine on here, so Ill attach a Pic from google for visual. It makes them much easier to handle, and harvest when ypu get to that growth.
0 likesLike Sunny said, those are aerial roots that help the plant attach or get more nutrients. Mine get more if i forget to water it. You can just nip them off if you dont like the look.

0 likesI mean you could, like you would a monestera or climbing philo or something, but they are usually only a fee inches long, so wouldn't reach the soil from the top.
