   You can remove the leaf, but I doubt it will significantly alter the plant’s natural function. These plants elevate their leaves at night, although they do not completely close.

   Personally I’d cut all the damaged leaves off and let it grow new ones. Not sure if those streaks are from an old thrips infection but I’d remove those too and add about 1 tsp of systemic granules to the soil every 6-8 weeks.. water with reverse osmosis or distilled water to prevent the browning moving forward and so you can tell if it actually has pest vs water issues. Tbh this is a fairly difficult one imo bc it prefers to be outside on a porch where it’s humid and doesn’t understand it’s cold af outside rn smh. I find they generally don’t look so good during the winter and literally was about to chuck mine in the bin 😅 bc they are such divas and I have too many plants to be pampering this princess… butttt dang they are so pretty 😍 so we will all struggle together lol

   Don’t worry about leaves closing up. It will do as it wants. You have a plant that requires high humidity. Looks like you have trimmed off the dry leaf parts. You really need a humidifier. Aim for above 50%. Picky plant but beautiful plant.

   I repotted one of my Stromanthe in Rosy cactus and succulent soil today. Do I have to repot again in houseplant soil? I don’t want her to die from stress
