Hi! I just recently repotted my cactus about a month ago and since then I’ve noticed her tilting quite a bit. I’ve tried rotating the pot around and she seems to be tilting in the same direction. Could this be due to her not being fully used to the new pot? I just watered her for the second time since she’s been in the new pot and it seemed like the water wasn’t making it all the way through the soil and out of the draining hole. Any help/tips would be great, thanks!

The roots haven’t anchor it yet, since they were disturbed by the repotting. Don’t worry about it, they will grow and anchor. In the meantime, keep it straight with some prop: stick, rocks, etc.

Is that cactus soil? It looks too woody for a Cactus, it won’t drain the water well. If the roots are OK, use a wooden skewer along side it to support in a more straight position until roots stabilise.

Yes it is cactus and succulent soil, it seems like it drains because the soil doesn’t stay completely drenched for too long and it does dry out fairly quickly. I haven’t figured out if it’s better to fill with water from the top or I’ve seen other people put the plant in a shallow bowl of water for a couple minutes and have it be watered through the drainage hole that way👍🏻

Thats good, as long as it drains well. Cactii really don’t need much water to keep them going. I use this water bottle as you can be precise and not over water.
