hey!! should I remove the wrinkled/dry tipped pieces? also is this sunburn? i know this plant doesn’t like full sun because it burns easily.

Did you check for root rot? That is a lot of fungus gnats around succulents. Typically, the potting mix of succulents and cacti is too dry to support the fungus gnats whose larvae live in continuously wet soil and eat roots.

that’s why i was asking if it looked sunburnt, i have a radiator right up against my plant stand bc this is the only place i can have them, so i’ve been trying to get on a better watering schedule, the heat makes the soil dry out within a week, i am only watering when the soil is fully dry

i moved and none of my plants got watered for about 6 months, so i am pretty sure fungus gnats are all dead by now

In my experience, haworthia obtusa likes full sun. Mine do not burn, the turn a pretty pink color when they are stressed. I do aclimate them little by little so they don’t burn, when I bring them home.

do you think mine are burned? i did stress them a bit with the move and not watering for 6 months due to craziness i couldn’t be constantly caring for my plants so i opted to stop watering and then revive who survived. the centers look healthy and plump but them my outsides are a bit pink like you said yours get, but also slightly dehydrated/deflated if that makes sense?? and some get the abrasion on top and others will just dry out right away. i’m hoping she is just underwatered, figuring out the schedule with the radiator as a factor is difficult but this is the only south facing window i have for them, so sorry if im overbearing, she is just one of my favorites and i want her to be happy like she was when she came in the mail

Being near the radiator can be fixed with a grow light and placement away from the radiator. The other issues can be fixed with consistent care. It can be tough at times. But, try to maintain at least the watering schedule. Good luck🍀🪴

I don’t think it’s sunburn. It looks like dehydration. But it’s more likely to die of overwatering, so take it slow and don’t try to make up for the six months by watering more often. It does look like you might loose the smallest one, but at least 2 or 3 look really good 👍 Hang in there!
