I've had this jade clipping for a very long time but it hasn't grown. It it kind of plump (but not really) and not very squishy so that means it's alive. It does have roots and a couple lil sprouts. Its also kind of wrinkly. Is there a way for it to grow faster and make him plumper or should I just let him chill?

Following. I have the same issue with an echeveria leaf. I put it in soil before it shot out a new plant. It’s got plenty of roots but it’s starting to lose its coloration.

I know they need to be kept dry but if it's wrinkling it could be in need of a little moisture. The Roots don't go very deep so just a little bit at the base should do it. Also maybe a little diluted root stimulator. Root stimulator, not rooting hormone.

I believe that the original leaf is meant to like dry out. The water stored in it is what feeds the roots and new plants so it is probably just drying up which is nature. And the process takes a while but if it has roots I think it should grow. Not an expert but have several and I think patience and sorta ignoring them is sorta the key here. And yeah many of mine grew roots before the new plant formed (Echevarría mostly)

      I think that's a good observation

yes, this exactly!! ^^^ also a little side note - you dont need to plant the leaf at all, you can just lay it down on soil, i even leave them laying around on my shelves sometimes cause theres no free space on my other plants pots lol. anyways, once the leaf dries up, you can carefully remove it, and plant the baby (if it wasnt already under the soil)!
