Not sure what you are asking about being variegated. Plant looks fine except maybe a yellow bottom leaf.

0 gillningarI know that some succulents have a âwaxâ or âpowderâ that gives the leaves a lighter look. It helps protect them from the sun since they often get a lot of it. However, it is easily wiped off and doesnât grow back. So often times new leaves can look much lighter than older ones; as it hasnât been wiped off. Iâm not 100% sure if your succulent produces that substance. However, thatâs what it looks like is happening, to me.
0 gillningarFarina aka epicuticular wax. I think of it as succulent sunblock. Common newbie mistake to wipe off, because it looks like dust. đïž In a rosette like this the new leaves come from the center. Heihei, I think you have some new growth and itâs a lighter color.
