Not sure what you are asking about being variegated. Plant looks fine except maybe a yellow bottom leaf.
0 likesSorry, I don’t think it shows up in the photo, but the leaves in the middle are very white and the shape has changed too, think was what it looked like before. Maybe more light?
0 likesI know that some succulents have a “wax” or “powder” that gives the leaves a lighter look. It helps protect them from the sun since they often get a lot of it. However, it is easily wiped off and doesn’t grow back. So often times new leaves can look much lighter than older ones; as it hasn’t been wiped off. I’m not 100% sure if your succulent produces that substance. However, that’s what it looks like is happening, to me.
0 likesFarina aka epicuticular wax. I think of it as succulent sunblock. Common newbie mistake to wipe off, because it looks like dust. 🖐️ In a rosette like this the new leaves come from the center. Heihei, I think you have some new growth and it’s a lighter color.
1 likeI have not wiped any of the leaves, but the shape of the leaves are a bit odd, they flattened out a lot
