I’ve been wanting a good cactus that grows pretty big, so I can put it on my shelf. But it needs to be low light. Please comment any suggestions! TIA!

All cactus need high light to thrive. I suggest a grow light if you want to keep one indoors.

If you're dead-set on a cactus, either get a grow light or get a fake one. If you're okay with other plants, ferns tend to do well in lower light spots (obviously all plants need at least a bare minimum amount of light to live), and mini hostas can do full shade in a fairly large size

Try fishbone cactus, orchid cactus, and night blooming cactus. They need good lighting as well. But, they don’t need the intense light typical of desert cacti. They are jungle cacti that climb trees and get filtered light in the tropics. They won’t live in low light conditions though. 🪴🍀
