Hello! Newbie here. I received this aeonium sunburst and it looks like this. What are these brown markings?

    All aeoniums bruise very easily and they don’t do well in shipping. Most sellers will warn you of that. They will not heal. New growth will be fine. Some sellers are better with protecting them. I bought some from Mountain Crest Gardens and they looked about like yours. I asked for replacements and they were just as bad. I bought from an Etsy seller and they were almost bruise free.

    So this the huge bloom is a goner? ☹️

      The plant will be fine. It will just be looking like a train wreck till the leaves are replaced with new growth. Mine took many months before starting to look decent. After a fair amount of new growth, I just cut off the top and propped it.
