PSA: if you're a dumb and don't put gloves on when repotting a cactus..... duct tape, really helps get those quills out 😆😰😢

      That's a plus. I have about ..mmm.. 25 cacti, most are prickly, only a few have papers spines

    I just brushed up against my Opuntia cactus and am trying to get the microscopic quills out. I’ll try duct tape, thx!

    SAME. That's why I bought these tongs to hold them. I got tired of feeling like I was continually at the Drs.

    Oof it hurts so much. My smallest cacti, which is less than an inch long, is more dangerous than all of my other cacti. I named him pokey, because a single brush up against him will give you like 50 spines. I found him one day when i was out in the woods. I sat down on a rock and accidentally placed my hand on him. I then was so mad I kidnapped him and he lives here now, obviously against his will.

      Lmao, that's the best story. These were from a purple prickly pear, so unassuming. And most actually came from the paper towel it was wrapped in.
