Hey guys, I need some help, my plants are mostly fine but the light in my area has been patchy, I was thinking about getting a grow light for my indoor plants but don’t know which one is good for succulents (if there even is a grow light better for succulents) I also am looking for some affordable 4-5inch terracotta pots with good drainage and a tray. Do y’all know any good sites or companies I could get these from?

Hello! If you don’t have part sun or full sun, then a grow light is a good idea. I got this one from Amazon and it works great. It has a built in timer and I keep it on for 12 hours on and off automatically. Hope this helps!

Best price for terracotta pots is Amazon. But come in sets. When shopping for grow lights, avoid the ones that do not state the wattage. It’s a sign they are low. I have a massive amount of grow lights. For individual pots I use Sansi 10 watt pot clip ons. My favorite brand in Sansi but also like Barrina. You need to look at the different styles to find what fits your situation. Avoid the skinny tube clip ons. All that I’ve seen are pretty much useless. You need higher wattage LEDs for succulents. The reviews on Amazon are not very reliable because most buyers have no idea how bright a good grow light is. If the wattage is not listed, then it’s too low. Check how bright the lights are in my pics.

The orderliness of this setup is very calming. 💚

Sorry to ask but is there any you know that can work for a terrarium with three baby plants and a potted flaming Katy? I can buy two grow lights but would like one that can reach multiple plants(with keeping your advice in mindâ˜ș)

I have that light in the 10 watt version. Tried the 5 watt but didn’t think it was bright enough.

I honestly don’t know what to tell you about the terrarium. A grow light shining on an enclosed glass vessel, is what I’m no sure of the results. Maybe another has tried it. The flaming Katy probably needs a 10 watt version. As for a light for multiple plants, sounds like you want something with a wide light spread but that is just so dependent upon your needs. I’m assuming you want something at a reasonable price. There is one light I bought multiples of at an extremely good price. Not as good as Sansi or Barrina, but I was happy with it. Let me look it up. I’ll get back to you.
