Best soil brand for succulents, cactus, euphorbia? I tried several brands from local stores and they always disappoint :(

I don’t usually use a specific soil brand for my succulents. I like to use Miraclegro, tho. I don’t usually use that much soil with fertilizer when it comes to cacti, because they come from the desert where the nutrients is low. I like to make an airier mix with good drainage to avoid root rot (common with a lot of my succulents) using extra perlite, and if I need a little extra oomph, I’ll use orchid bark, coconut coir/chips, or even break up twigs from my backyard! Volcanic pumice or gravel also work as well. Succulents, cacti, and euphorbias also like gritty mixes.
2 gillningarI use Jacks Gritty Mix. Sometimes on its own, but usually mix with regular potting soil. I use up to about 25% potting soil with Jacks. Buy directly, because it’s a few bucks cheaper than thru Amazon.

I use a mix of Hoffman Organic Cactus Succulent Mix, Bonsai Jack Gritty Mix, and Molly's Soiless Cactus Succulent Mix.
1 gillaEveryone’s given different answers lol but I use Sol Soils because it’s the easiest for me to get a hold of besides something like Miracle Gro or ordering online.
1 gillaYep, we all think we have the best. But that gives the poster some insight as to what is available and then up to them to research what works for them.
