My succulent started developing these white spots on the leaves. I’m not sure why it’s happening, any help appreciated!

    Looks fungal. Do u mist or have high humidity?

    That looks like mold to me 😬 any attempts to remove it would likely rub off the protective film on the leaves and cause them to burn when placed back near any light source, so I hate to say it, but it’s probably best to toss it. Has it been near a humidifier or misted, by any chance? Or possibly gotten wet when being watered? Mold can be a sign of overwatering, poorly draining soil, or poor ventilation, but it would need a source of humidity or water to develop on the leaves. This plant does not require misting or humidity, and the leaves must stay dry at all times, so if you do think the leaves have gotten wet from watering or its current location, I would look up “how to bottom water a plant” and put any future succulents in dry locations if you currently have it near a humidifier for other plants that need humidity. Hope this helps.

    Thank you! It’s near another plant that I mist, so I think that’s how the leaves unfortunately got wet.
