Hey everyone! I could use some help with my String of Turtles. The leaves have started turning yellow and falling off. I currently have it under a grow light and recently moved it closer to a window. I’ve been watering it about every two weeks. Is there anything I should change to help it recover? I’m also thinking about repotting it and changing the soil, but I’m not sure what type of soil mix works best for String of Turtles. Any recommendations would be really appreciated!
I would say a good draining succulent soil and personally I’d add quite a bit of peat moss, they love that!! They like being moist so I’d say you’re watering her just how she likes!! They DON’T like direct sunlight and they prefer cooler temperatures so I would stop using the grow light and keeping it in the window, they like indirect sunlight!! They are so different from your typical succulents that’s for sure!! Also they like regular plant fertilizer & water mixed 50/50 and if you decide to repot you will want a pot that is at least ten percent larger in volume!! Ima newb with regular plants but I’d like to think I’m fairly knowledgeable on succulents. 🪴💚🪴

1 j'aime No problem!! I recently started with regular plants and am constantly needing advice so I definitely know the feeling of not knowing the what’s and how’s of what are plant friends are trying to tell us!! I think he’ll be much happier with just those few adjustments for sure!! 🪴💚🪴
