      It's finally pushing out some big leaves up top too! Starting to look like a full on forest floor dweller

      That's what I was thinking but just thought I'd ask before I said anything. You really shouldn't use anything organic like that as a top dressing for cacti and succulents because it traps in too much moisture. Something inorganic like pumice or pea gravel is best for optimal drainage and it's non-moisture retentive.

      It is an obesa hybrid. I found a vendor on Etsy I really like. CYR succulents. So far has been excellent selection, prices, specimens and packaging!

      She's kind of been selling out of things lately but new items pop up too. Not sure if some of the rare stuff will come back in stock.
