I’m following the app and it’s thriving but the soil seems too moist. Should I repot with a slightly larger better draining pot?

It doesn’t look like it needs a bigger pot. I don’t follow the apps watering directions because it would overwater them. Your plant does looks like it needs a better draining succulent soil, though, so I would repot it in a soil with more perlite and other drainage material in it. For reference, this is what my succulent soil looks like.

0 Me gustaAgree that I wouldn’t go larger but something more well-draining is a good move for jade. Riley’s mix looks good — and personally I favor terra cotta for succs because it also promotes good drying of the substrate. Good luck!

0 Me gustaDefinitely agree with Riley and eatyacarbs here. The size looks just right for your jade at the moment. Have you repotted it at all while having it, and recall the brand of soil you used at the time? If it’s anything miracle grow brand, or not a strictly succulent soil mix, definitely get a succulent soil mix (NOT miracle grow brand) to repot it with. I highly recommend Espoma’s Organic Cactus and Succulent mix. It’s never failed me. And in the meantime, you can use a wooden/barbecue skewer to stick into the soil and check to see if the soil is completely dried out before you water it, and edit the watering settings for your jade and set it to a custom setting based on how long it takes for it to dry out in its current soil. Hope this helps!
3 Me gustaThis helps tremendously! I’ve never repotted. Do you like a specific type of pot for succulents?
1 me gustaTerra cotta tends to work best because it will dry out the soil faster
