can anyone help identify this echeveria? app scanner says it’s black prince but it looks different than the listed photos. instead of being fully purple tinted with thick leaves, this one is dark green with purple around the edges. never had one of these so idk if this is how the baby plant is supposed to look

    i've found their tool isn't great at IDing succulents. Used another tool that suggested Echeveria purpusorum.

    I also thought purpusiorium. If so it looks like it has dark dots all over it. I have two. Beautiful plants. It’s sometimes difficult because of the color changes that happen in the sunlight. Here’s mine.

    I don’t think it’s a black prince echeveria, and it’s lacking the signature speckling and line down the center of each of the leaves to be a purpusiorium. You can simply ID it as an “echeveria-mixed variety” through Planta for the time being. They don’t have every variety out there on the app yet, especially super rare cultivars, but you’ll get the same information needed to care for it by marking it as a regular echeveria. Hope this helps.

    No this is a black prince. Lighting can play a huge part in colors and markings coming out. Like how a Thai Constellation needs proper light for its variegations and finestrations
