Do you let the soil completely dry out between waterings? It’s possible there’s crown or root rot. I would guess from the look of the leaves that that is rot from overwatering or crown rot/water getting on the leaves/base of the plant, and would recommend checking the roots for any signs of rot. Hope this helps.

I did some heavy watering after I forgot to water it for a while, might be time root rot, I’ll go check, thank you!

No problem! Feel free to come back and lemme know if there is root rot, and I can walk you through how to treat it 👍

I had a similar problem when I kept my aloe on a shelf- turns out my son was watering his plant above it and it was draining into the aloe. I have since moved it and it has come back nicely. You can see some of the old areas; also lost a few stalks that seemed to be rotting at the base. But now it seems to be making a little plantlet too:)
