I chopped my sedum because it was getting wayyyyyy too leggy, should I drop the bigger stem pieces in water or just lay them onto and spray them ?

Whichever route you go, be sure to allow the fresh cut end to callous.
2 Me gustaYess they are calloused ! 😁
0 Me gustaYou can just put them in soil as well. I do that with my Succulents all the time. This one was started that way. Good luck
4 Me gustalol I wanted to just stick them straight in soil but I’m not the most knowledgeable on succulents
0 Me gustaSorry my phone froze. Lol

Succulents are such cool plants. Like Stephanie said, after the cut portion callouses, just stick it in soil. The top should grow and new leaves, as well as the new planting. Anything that falls off has potential to grow too. ( careful on the spraying part, they really dont need as much water as you might think).
2 Me gustaThanks ! Sounds perfect she was growing super duper wonky lol so she definitely needed a chop. I have a few that have dropped leaves I’ve just left them there I was just nervous about the stem growing roots lol.
1 me gustaIf you mean leggy like to much space between pedals that could be a sign of to little light!
