My moon cactus is growing cray fast! And spouting several new limbs. Should I trim them? Let them keep going and add different support? What does it mean

    They are actually two cacti Frankensteined together, the base cactus is a dragon fruit cactus, which is a vining cactus that gets huge in size. So keep and it might produce flowers then for fruit if let mature and get pollinated. Probably has to be outside for flowering to occur and get pollinated. The big one is getting like this because it doesn’t have a top cactus leeching all its energy to grow like the two grafted ones with their top cactus still attached.

    I want to say it’s not getting enough light. When plants are light deprived, their leaves will get thinner so the chloroplast is closer to the surface of the cell. The end of your cactus looks very thin and I suspect it might not be getting enough light

      The reason that one is very thin because it’s a baby. It’s still growing!

    she’s doing her thing — this is just how they grow. the base of your moon cactus was a dragonfruit. they’re just wild looking. you can add support if it suits you, or you can let it be wild
