I have this aloe plant and I can’t ever seem to grow it past 3 shoots…as soon as another starts growing, one stem dies. It’s alive, but not thriving. What do I do?

The pot looks way too big for it. I would reduce the pot size by quite a bit and you will probably see some progress.

Yes decrease the pot size to just big enough to hold the roots plus a bit more. Terracotta is good because u want to let it dry out so it’s also important to have drainage hole(s.) Terracotta is good too because it’s less likely to fall over. Make sure you have a well draining soil. Look for cactus or succulent mix. Find a spot with bright indirect light. Too much direct sun will give weak, yellow leaves. (Ask me how I know🫣)
